Introduction

In the world of Warhammer during the Skaven War in 1123 C.I, the player plays a character designated as a warrior of the Order of the Lion. He is tasked with getting rid of the chaos around the city of Kemperbad.

What did i do ?

  • Creation and editing of documents
  • Creation of a prototype / Bug fixing
  • Narration
  • Combat / Enemy Design
  • Level Design of the Ruins and the Castle
  • Establishment of a pleasant flow for the player.
  • Applying retakes from reviews and playtests.
  • Communicating with the team to validate and retake features to match the design intentions.

Combat Design

Roll

The roll is used to dodge but also to cancel a launched attack. The attack can only be canceled if the animation is still in Anticipation period.

Block

Blocking allows you to avoid damage that the player could have suffered from an attack, but also to slightly push the enemy back. Its high stamina cost pushes the player to aim for the perfect parry.

Attack

The player can choose between 3 different weapons in this quest but he also can fight with his fists. He can adjust the direction of their attack as long as the animation is in anticipation.

Combo

Each weapon creates different combos by their framing and types of attacks. The player can launch the next combo attack by attacking during the recovery step of the last attack animation.
