Introduction

In a chaotic scene, with the space prison engulfed in flames, prisoners scramble to escape. As Gray Stetson, the player embarks on a journey to find a way out. Navigating through the spaceship, he explores every nook and cranny in search of an exit, carefully avoiding spreading fires and collapsing structures. As they delve deeper into the spaceship, Grey’s heart races as they come across a terrifying discovery: a menacing beast lurking in the shadows.

Mechanics

Interaction

The player can interact with Codepads to open doors, he has to find codes in a computer.

Throw

The player can throw metal scrap that he founds to make noise and alert the AI.

Flashlight

The player can use his Flashlight to illuminate dark paths such as vents.

Level Design

Process - Paper Work

The 1st phase was paper work, then I transferred and clarified it on a 2D numeric map with a document exposing my intentions and the flow of the level, with visual references.

Process - Block Out

Secondly i blocked out with simple geometry to find scale and test player movement.

Process - Modules

After that, I replaced the blockout with modules to make the level clearer and more readable.
